US Army veteran Emerie Arsenault salutes a fallen comrade at the “Punchbowl” National Cemetery of the Pacific after laying a rose in his honor. Emerie was stationed at Ft. Shafter on the island of Oahu when the Japanese attacked nearby Pearl Harbor. In December 2011 he and 23 other Pearl Harbor survivors returned to their respective stations around Oahu and attended the official commemorations for the 70th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
